"BABES," is my opinion, is an absolute FOX classic! I don't think I've seen every episode, but I still enjoyed it.
Three beautiful women, fabulous writing, a host of first-rate guest stars from Phil Proctor to Dolly Parton, and direction that was so far above anything else in sitcoms of the day . .
This short lived show was a breath of fresh air in the stale and pre-packaged atmosphere of TV-land. Not only did it feature (very) beautiful women with real figures, but it actually contained fresh plot ideas mixed with wonderful oddball humor.
I can remember as a little kid watching this very short-lived series. In fact, we had the pilot episode recorded and have watched it several times.
Babes is about three Dutch women who all lived together. Off course, there was a neighbour too, who just couldn't stay away from the lady's.
