I loved this show, and I vividly remember the story line about the student Sandy Jones who had an affair with the professor portrayed by Dabney Coleman. Sandy's father, Professor Jones, was not portrayed by the same Mark Miler shown in the imdb photos.
The man shown in the photos labeled "Mark Miller" in "Bright Promise" is/was Mark Lincoln Miller, an openly gay actor who was a friend of George Nader and Rock Hudson. He never married and had no children, as one might expect.
