This show is the strongest on Canadian Television in recent years. The characters are believable, the interwoven plots are full of suspense, and the acting is outstanding.
This show wouldn't have lasted one season on American television, not because it is different than most prime time soaps because it is serious, but because it is so diverse. I was disappointed that it was cancelled after only two seasons considering the great potential that existed for the further development of not only the main characters from the second season, but also of the minor characters from the first season which were all but written out of a few episodes in the second season.
