The Dresden Files

I just watched the whole series on Netflix and was disappointed to see it was canceled. Clearly the network didn't realize it had a good thing going.

So many things wrong just in the first episode alone.

Gotta say this show ought to have appeared on terrestrial television and, in its way, just as enjoyable as the likes of charmed and supernatural. Paul Blackthorne better known more recently for his role in Arrow plays his leading role well and as the episodes progressed, IMO I felt the characters became more entertaining.

I have only just watched the series reminds me another series constantine , Both i found enjoyable, for the heat between the 2 main stars , the escape from reality is what i look for in a series.along with constantine this series is another in a long line of excellent programs that got canceled.

This was a great show when it aired the first time but it was cut short for no apparent reason. Now that Arrow is ending I hope Netflix or prime restarts this show with the same people would be great.

The people who really hate it have read the books, and it would seem, the excellence of the books in the fantasy realm, are lost. The lead, a wizard who inherits his gifts from his Mother (dead).

Ok I've read all the books and am currently working on the graphic novels. So I'm a fan.

It is a shame they only did one season of this thing. Good casting.

This is one of those "meh" kind of situations where a show isn't the best in its genre but its really not doing anything WRONG to speak of, just not noteworthy. The character is your typical raggedy shady dark hero type, practices magic and just so happens to meet a detective who enlists him as a police informant.
