UFO was produced by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson who up until then had been responsible for a range of internationally successful puppet based shows eg Stingray, Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet etc. The basic conceit being that Earth was being visited by Aliens who were 'harvesting' humans for organs etc.

I liked it. These kids seem like actual geeky college students.

This was a really interesting story and a believable of what a math geek could discover from a u.f.

Well this would appeal to anyone who loves the whole 'are we alone in the universe' question. A lot more subtle than Close Encounters movie and also reminded me of an older film called Contact with Jodie Foster.

Really enjoyed this film!

Maths aren't my strong point, so the plethora of equations and really big numbers were confusing enough to be believable. The conspiracy busting vibe was spot on and the whole thing was thoroughly enjoyable.

Really good plot, likeable characters, not overly sentimental and I loved the slightly old fashioned atmosphere they created. In parts it reminded me of Signs (the Mel Gibson film), in that there was a kind of sadness and a yearning to know what's out there in the vast universe.

Half way down the crew credits it lists First Woman In Space Valentina Tereshkova. She is not featured in the film or indeed referenced.

My title sums this film up really, shouldn't be called UFO it would more appropriately be called 'MATH' the UFO or anything about the aliens within it play such small part in this film its unbelievable where at the cast constantly baffle the general audience with the higher level math nonsense. .
