Biography

Benjamin Alexander Murphy was born July 26, 2000. When he was 8 he got his first camera, and with it he made several "Doctor Who" fan episodes. In 2010, Murphy would start his first continuous series of films which were in some way interconnected, a theme which he would make use of many times in the subsequent years. The movies in question were a set of Godzilla fan films, which he would make in a day, then present to his family in a pseudo-theatre setting. After the completion of this series, Murphy would take a 4-year hiatus from film making, focusing more on writing. After the 4 years had ended, he began working on a parody film of the shining, an idea which would never come off the ground, and would be quickly canceled. Another 2 years would go by before he picked up film making again. His return to film making would have him start work on a parody of his previous films as a way to reminisce on the past, but this project would be canceled within a week of it's creation. Soon after, he began focusing on his YouTube channel, while making short films for fun, without any intention of showing them to anyone. Eventually these short films began telling a cryptic story, which Murphy latched onto. This story would then be told in several adaptations of said shorts, with minor modifications in his "Lore" series of videos on YouTube. Outside of film making, Ben Murphy is a writer, and hopes to pursue a career in fiction writing.
