Canadian actor
Along with Jeffrey Combs , he is one of only two actors to play two different, completely unrelated characters in a single episode of a "Star Trek" series, playing Lt. Peter Durst and Sulan in the "Star Trek: Voyager" episode "Faces.".
Graduated from New Yorks American Academy of Dramatic Arts in 1983, along with actors Elias Koteas , Illeana Douglas , Louis Mustillo , Adam Klugman , Jody Wood , Elisa Anders , Jonathan Mandell , and Michael Reid Carter. After graduating, Markinson, Koteas, Wood, Anders, Mandell, and Carter were members of the Academy of Dramatic Arts 1983-1984 Production Company.
