In fact, she was in the very first episode that premiered on March 26, 1973. In 2013, "Entertainment Weekly" magazine looked back at the 40 year old episode and wrote of Hall: "Some actors in the premiere episode (which was only a half hour) may not be recognizable to todays younger Y&R fans, but youd have to live in a hovel with no access to soap opera rags to NOT recognize the gal at episodes end who continues to reign as a daytime diva.".
