Donna was raised in Lorton, Virginia, where her father owned the local nightclub, "Hillbilly Heaven". She was working as a model and attending college when she landed her first regular role on TV's _"Bosom Buddies" . She has since fluctuated between TV and film work, frequently appearing with her husband.
Represented the State of Virginia in the 1976 Miss USA Beauty Pageant and the District of Columbia in the 1977 Miss World pageant.
