Biography

Eric Colton is a native of Franklin, Michigan and a 2006 graduate of Michigan State University. Eric is the oldest of three boys. His father, Michael, is an attorney and his mother, Michele, is a real estate agent. Eric's acting career began in high school when he booked his first ever audition for a regional TV commercial in Metro-Detroit. He continued acting in commercials and taking modeling work throughout high school. Eric enrolled at Michigan State University to study theatre and public relations. The summer after his freshman year, Eric headed to Los Angeles with his older cousin, Laura, who was moving there to pursue acting as well. Eric quickly found representation in Los Angeles, and his summer vacation turned into 6 months of auditioning for commercial, film and television roles. He co-starred on the CBS sitcom, "A Minute with Stan Hooper" and actor. In June of 2014, Eric moved to New York to study with legendary acting teacher Susan Batson. He worked daily with Susan for the next four months. While in New York he guest-starred in the new Oxygen channel sketch comedy "My Crazy Love". He and Susan are currently collaborating on a one-man play about the private life of Hollywood legend, Rock Hudson. Eric Colton resides in both New York and Los Angeles.
