Father of Helen Hunt.

While working on "Yogis Treasure Hunt" , Gordon Hunt was looking over a storyboard, and, what seemed to be a new character, caught his eye. He asked writers Mark Evanier and Earl Kress , who this "new character" was. They both told him it was Yogis friend, "Boo-Boo", and was not a new character.

Brother-in-law of Barbette Tweed.

Grandfather of Makena Lei Gordon Carnahan (b. 2004).

He was the son of Helen Florence (Roberts, originally Rothenberg) and George Smith Hunt II. His father, from Minnesota, was of English descent. His mother, from New York, was from a German Jewish family.
