Jeff Stewart is a true child of the 80s. He was raised just as much by television and movies as he was by his parents. Given his first camera when he was two years old, he hasn't been seen without one since. His love of photography and what some my say as a gift of storytelling propelled him to attend New York University & Temple University to pursue a degree in filmmaking and creative writing. In his travels through life Jeff has been a comic book writer, professional photographer, radio show host, and just a generally fantastic individual.
Hobbies include gardening and cycling.
As Jeff Stewart won the Best Actor Award at the Manhattan Film Festival, 2011, for his main role, in "Under Jakobs Ladder", he revealed: "When they said, the best actor goes to Jeff Stewart, a cold shiver went from the tips of my toes to the top of my head and to the end of my fingers" (From "The Sun", UK, 12th August 2011, 11:00 pm).
Scottish by birth, his family moved to southern England when he was just 3 months old. He was raised in Hampshire.
Attempted suicide in 2008 after learning his character was going to be axed from the show after more than 20 years.
