Born in southwestern Poland in 1973, she graduated from Akademia Teatralna in Warsaw, Poland in 1996. Lives with her partner, Bartlomiej Swiderski, in Warsaw.

Gave birth to twin sons (her first and second child) at age 35, Jan Wilczak and Franciszek Wilczak in July 2008. Childrens father is her boyfriend, Pawel Wilczak.
