Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Gonzalo moved to Miami, Florida when she was 8 years old. Her first acting role came when she was 20 and she made a few TV appearances during the early 2000s, as well as appearing in some high profile movies .
Has been in two movies with Chad Michael Murray : Freaky Friday and A Cinderella Story .
Speaks fluent Spanish. When doing press junkets for her films with the Spanish-language media she does so entirely in Spanish, which has made her a very popular young star for Latinos and Latin Americans.
She also starred in two movies with Jamie Lee Curtis : Freaky Friday and Christmas with the Kranks .
