He met his future wife Tine Reymer at Studio Herman Teirlinck, a theatre school in Antwerp, Belgium. He was her teacher.
Very close friend of Stany Crets. They have done a lot of projects together, including the movies Alles moet weg , Plop in de wolken and Team Spirit , and the television series "De raf en Ronny Show" , "Raf en Ronny II" , "Raf en Ronny III" and "Debby & Nancy Laid Knight" .
His first daughter, Charlie, was born in June 2005. His second daughter Thelma was born on October 2, 2008.
