Thomas Ernst is a screenwriter, director, actor, and editor best known for his short films and documentaries. Ernst was born in Saint Petersburg, Florida and has been writing screenplays for several years while pursuing a career in filmmaking. Moreover, Ernst has additional interests in politics, business, music, writing, and chess. He hopes to write a feature-length screenplay within the upcoming year. In 2017, Ernst's documentary _Fischer and Trump: Winning the Game was entered into Sunscreen Film Festival in the high school film division. Amongst 14 total entries, the documentary won the sole award for best picture in that division.

Avoids acting roles at all costs as he has an a hard time keeping himself from laughing and ruining takes.
A self-taught piano player. Though Ernst cannot read music, he is able to play by ear proficiently.
