Cathryn Antoinette Tennille is a classically trained pianist, singer and songwriter best known as one-half of the duo Captain & Tennille with her husband, Daryl Dragon. Their signature song was the number one hit Love Will Keep Us Together. The song won the Grammy for record of the year in 1976. In the 70’s & 80’s they made television appearances in The Captain and Tennille Show, the Toni Tennille Show and network specials. Since the 1980’s Tennille has released numerous solo albums celebrating big band and American standards.Tennille filed for divorce from Dragon in 2014 after 39 years of marriage. She currently lives in Florida with her three dogs.
